Sparring at Dawg Pound is done in a professional ring. You will be training in the same ring that many world champions have trained in. A ring adds elements of reality as well as safety that cannot be matched without one.

At Dawg Pound, concern for our students' safety is our primary concern. And, that's why we train in a professional ring as well as on professional mats.

This is just another example of how at Dawg Pound Fight Academy we go that extra mile to provide for our members quality professional service.

At Dawg Pound, our Boxing/Kickboxing Workout features 20 punching (kicking) bags, a bodacious stereo system and amazing instructors. You won't find anything like it for 100 miles!

Dawg Pound Fight Academy Mixed Martial Arts and Grappling classes are taught by Darrin Baldridge. Coach Darrin has an extensive wrestling and submission grappling background. He is well respected as a coach and MMA trainer.

Classes are divided up into instruction and floor time (actual grappling). Since there is no hard contact striking involved, students can begin grappling from their first day. As numerous NO HOLD BARRED contests have shown, the grappling art is a must for any serious Martial Artist and Dawg Pound grappling lead by Darrin Baldridge is as good as it gets.

So for a fun class, super practical training, and an amazing workout give our MMA and Grappling classes a try.

At Dawg Pound, womens' safety is a major priority. It is imperative that women know how to defend themselves and have the confidence to protect themselves in a physical altercation.
